This past week I shared some of my dissertation research at the North American Ornithological Conference (NAOC), which went fully virtual this year. I received an honorable mention in the Best Student Presentation competition, which is especially exciting since there were over 200 talks in the competition and this was an international conference! I really enjoyed hearing about all of the fascinating work researchers are doing in the bird world.
